Nicole Kidman in Alexander McQueen: Degradé strikes again. Unfortunately (and exceptional amongst McQueens other items) the quality of this McQueen (SS08) degradé is (as usual for such attempts) really rather lacking. With the silhouettes overlaid your eye is distracted, and it certainly looks great on Kidman. But the colours are rather sensationalist and in another piece it looks truly hideous. They’re probably still trying to do it with silkscreening, although actually the intensity of the colours might suggest otherwise.
